Overview
United Stables (U) is a dollar stablecoin on BNB Chain, launched in early 2026. It presents itself as a “stablecoin liquidity layer”: a single dollar token meant to connect liquidity that is currently split across many stablecoins and blockchains.
In January 2026, the custody and wallet provider Cobo announced a partnership to support U’s launch and distribution, focusing on institutions and payment networks in Asia-Pacific. KuCoin listed U in June 2026. By October 2026, about $1.6 billion of U was in circulation.
How it works
U is designed to stay worth $1 and to be usable across apps and chains. The project has described plans for payments, including micropayments for AI agents, and integrations with BNB Chain DeFi apps.
Public details about who issues U, where its reserves are held and how they are verified are limited. We could not find an independent audit or regular attestation comparable to those of USDC, PYUSD or USDG.

Risks
- Transparency. Without clear, independently verified reserves, holders must trust the issuer.
- New and untested. U has not been through a market crisis.
- Concentration. Most of its activity is on BNB Chain and a few platforms.
- Regulation. It does not appear to operate under US or EU stablecoin rules.

Our verdict
United Stables has grown fast, and its idea of unifying stablecoin liquidity could be useful. But it is very new, and public information about its issuer and reserves is limited. For holding meaningful amounts, better-established and better-documented stablecoins are a safer choice.
