Privacy policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Cryptensive is a free information website. We don't sell anything to you, we don't ask you to create an account, and we don't track you across websites or build profiles of you. This page explains the little data that is involved when you visit, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Cryptensive. For any question about privacy or your data, write to [email protected].

What we don't do

  • No Google Analytics and no tracking across websites. We only count visits anonymously (see “Visit statistics” below).
  • No advertising networks and no tracking pixels.
  • No accounts, sign-up forms or newsletters.
  • No cookies set by this website.
  • We never sell or rent personal data to anyone.

What is processed when you visit

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information about each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. We use these logs only to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse. They are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically. We don't use them to identify or profile visitors.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server is located in the European Union.

Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and makes it load faster. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data to do this, and may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example to tell humans and bots apart). These cookies don't track you across websites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Visit statistics

To understand which pages are useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits without cookies or any other data stored in your browser, and it doesn't use your IP address or browser details to identify you or follow you across websites. We only see totals, such as the number of visits, which pages were viewed, which sites people came from, country, and device type. We also see how fast pages load, so we can keep the site quick.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts and prices

Fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider. Crypto prices shown on the site are collected by our server from CoinGecko; your browser does not contact CoinGecko.

If you email us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We keep the conversation only as long as needed and don't add you to any mailing list.

Links to other websites

The site links to exchanges, wallets, tools and news sources, and has share buttons for X and Facebook. Those are plain links: nothing is sent to those sites until you click. Once you leave Cryptensive, the other site's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Because we keep almost no personal data and don't know who our visitors are, there is usually nothing we can link to you. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly process their data.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data (for example, by adding a newsletter), we will update this page and the date at the top.
